Acoustic Consultant

SPECTRUM ACOUSTIC CONSULTANTS LTD is one of the UK’s leading independent firms of acoustic consultants, with a track record of prestigious and challenging projects covering the arts, commercial, leisure, residential and industrial sectors – both in the UK and worldwide.

We are seeking people with approximately 3-5 years consultancy experience to join our dynamic team in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

With appropriate experience and training, you will typically run several concurrent small-medium sized projects on your own, and be part of a small team on larger projects. We encourage staff to develop and nurture client relationships and to run their own projects, from initial enquiry and quoting through to project execution, reporting and invoicing; so you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.

APPLICANT CRITERIA:

• We expect the successful applicant will have experience in a combination of environmental, building, industrial and building services acoustics. You will be a good communicator, and be able to work on your own as well as part of a small team.
• You should have a degree with relevant acoustics content or a general engineering degree and the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) Diploma.
• You should have a full driving license and a suitable car.
