This year’s annual conference will be held as a virtual event.
The programme has sessions on environmental noise, building acoustics, noise and vibration engineering, measurement and instrumentation, physical acoustics, speech, hearing and bioacoustics, soundscapes, Early Careers Group and the future of road and rail modelling.
This year the Rayleigh Medal Lecture will be given by Prof Robin Langley, the title of his lecture is “Analysis of vibro-acoustic systems for design in the presence of uncertainty”.

The 36th Reproduced Sound Conference will focus on all aspects of electroacoustics, and will bring together practitioners, educators and students in an atmosphere with a friendly and enthusiastic 'buzz', which is a hallmark of past RS conferences.

Hear for Tomorrow, 24 March 2021, Royal Academy of Engineering, London
Organised by the IOA and Hearing Conservation Association. This event aims to raise awareness of the effect of music on hearing health through sharing the latest research and solutions. The meeting aims to cover the scale of the problem, what we now know, and what can be done.
World leading specialists will deliver the cutting-edge knowledge to help inform decision makers and influencers on wellbeing and health issues for amateur players, professional musicians, casual listeners and festival goers!
A keynote address will be given by Professor Kathleen Campbell of Southern Illinois University. The theme will be around her patented D-Met drug designed to reduce the effect of excessive sound exposure on hearing loss. The event is hosted by the Royal Academy of Engineering, supported by the EPSRC UK Acoustics Networking and the Institute of Acoustics running the inaugural Hearing Conservation Association meeting.
